Art in Bloom has become a can’t-miss event for PMA members, art and floral enthusiasts, and visitors throughout the region. Featuring floral work by designers, artists, farmers, and florists from across southern Maine, the museum comes alive with fragrant blooms, extravagant displays, and incredible floral installations of all types—each inspired by an artwork from the museum’s collection.

Please review the guidelines and fully complete the linked Designer Application by December 15th, 2025 at 11:59 pm in order to be considered.
Member-Preview Hours, 9–10 a.m., Wednesday–Friday
March 25-27, members and their guests get early access to the museum to enjoy the Art in Bloom arrangements before the crowds. Registration is not required.
PMA members get discounts in the PMA Store and PMA Café!
Extended Public Hours, 10 a.m.–8 p.m., Wednesday–Saturday
March 25-28, the museum is open late for Art in Bloom week. Whether you’re first in the door, looking for a mid-day break, or making a night on the town, make Art in Bloom part of your plans.
Art in Bloom is included with general admission to the PMA, so come on in whenever you’re ready to check out the arrangements! Special programs are ticketed and advanced registration is recommended.
