The PMA is a non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tion that relies on the sup­port of its mem­bers and donors to ful­fill its mis­sion to enrich the lives of peo­ple through acqui­si­tion, preser­va­tion, and inter­pre­ta­tion of the visu­al arts and the muse­um’s archi­tec­tural­ly sig­nif­i­cant build­ings. Just as there are numer­ous lev­els of mem­ber­ship, there are also numer­ous ways to give.

Match­ing Gifts

As an employ­ee ben­e­fit, many com­pa­nies par­tic­i­pate in match­ing-gift pro­grams for char­i­ta­ble gifts made by their employ­ees. Check with your employer’s Human Resources depart­ment to see if your gen­eros­i­ty will be made greater through a match by your employer.

Gifts made through an IRA, Donor Advised Fund, or Pri­vate Foun­da­tion may not receive “more than inci­den­tal ben­e­fits” in exchange for a grant or dona­tion. “More than inci­den­tal ben­e­fits” at the PMA includes free gift mem­ber­ships and events on a case by case basis, among oth­er benefits.
